Labubu Macaron Series (also known as Labubu V1) was released in October 2023 and started the Labubu keychain blind box craze.

Labubu Doll Macaron Colors

They come in soft pastel colors which makes them cute and also easy to find Labubu clothes.

Size

They are 6.7 inches (17 cm) tall

Eyes

They all have eyes that are brown and staring straight.

Ears

Their ears are one color and same color as their body

She has the famous mischievous grin with her 9 teeth

Nose

Her nose is upside down heart and is same color as the body

Fur

Her fur is made of ABS/PVC and is soft and more like a soft rug.

The fur is thicker and feels like thicker strands and not like the thinner but smoother fur like Have a Seat V2, Big into Energy V3 or Labubu Pin for Love V4

Body

Labubu Macaron’s body has a little belly but she’s not as chubby as Big Into Energy V3

This set is sold as blind boxes which means they’re mystery boxes and you don’t really know which one you’re getting when you buy one.

Once you open it, you’ll see a high end sealed plastic bag with an environmental diatom (used to keep moisture from getting into the box)

Just like the Have a Seat V2 and Big Into Energy V3, this set all come with their own Pop Card that has the Labubu Macaron names on them

Labubu Macaron Secret Character

If you’re new to Labubu dolls, the Secret Character is a special version that comes in blind boxes and you only have a 1:72 chance of getting her!

The Secret in the Labubu Exciting Macaron is a brown version called Chestnut Cocoa

Your chance of getting one from buying a blind box is only 1:72 and because it’s so hard to get, the Labubu Macaron Secret can easily sell for over $200

In Feb. 2026, you can buy on eBay for around $125 – $150 USD.

Buying Tips for Labubu Macaron Secret

Here are some tips to help you avoid buying a fake Labubu by accident

1 ) Avoid Blind Boxes from a Reseller

If you’re buying a random blind box from a third party seller, chances are those blind boxes will NOT have the Labubu Macaron Secret.

The reason is sellers often open their boxed sets hoping to get Labubu Cocoa and if they’re happen to pull the Macaron Secret in one of the 6 blind boxes, they will not open any more of the blind boxes in that set since there is zero chance it will have another Secret. (Popmart only puts 1 Chestnut Cocoa in a set).

The sellers usually sell those blind boxes and there is zero chance the Secret character will be inside since it’s from the same box that the seller had pulled one from.

2 ) Be Cautious If Seller Says Box is Sealed…

If the seller says the box is sealed, then it can be a scam and a fake Labubu since there is no way you can tell it’s going to be the Labubu Exciting Macaron Secret since they’re all blind boxes.

— ONLY Exception for a “Sealed Box” that claims to have Labubu Macaron Chestnut is if seller claims to have purchased directly from Popmart in a [POP NOW] and has pictures of proof of receipt.

This seller purchased directly from Pop Mart and provided receipt and shipment tracking of his purchase of Chestnut Cocoa

The reason seller knows it’s the Labubu Macaron Secret is because he did a virtual “Pop Now” where you can virtually open a box in the Pop Mart app.

Seller also provided his shipping tracking from Pop Mart

— Make sure seller has photos of the card and box

— I would prefer to buy if bag is sealed (the box can be open and shows the authentic card) so that you’re not buying a fake

If the bag is opened, then make sure seller has the pictures including the card.

Don’t fall for “too good to be true!”

Be careful of a great price you see because the Labubu Macaron Secret is rare and hard to get so if the price is similar to the other dolls such as Lychee Berry, Green Grape, Soymilk, etc.

I would be very careful and stay away.

That’s a red flag!

If you really want one, the easiest way is to buy one directly from a reseller on eBay

3 Ways to Buy a Labubu Macaron

There are 3 ways to buy a Labubu Macaron doll.

Option 1: Buy a Labubu Exciting Macaron Blind Box

You can buy a single blind box that has 1 doll but you just don’t know which variation you’ll be getting.

The Labubu Macaron Popmart price is $28 for a blind box and you can check the app and website first.

If Labubu Exciting Macaron Popmart is Out of Stock, the 2 easiest places are Amazon and eBay because of the guarantees and quick shipping

Option 2: Buy the Specific One You Want from Opened Blind Box

If you don’t like the suspense or you’re determined to get a specific Labubu keychain, you can simply go to eBay and buy the exact one you want.

Amazon doesn’t sell these since they only sell unopened blind boxes.

The prices range from $23 to $40. The Secret Chestnut Cocoa will be around $125 – $150.

Always make sure you buy from a seller that has many positive reviews from past Labubu sales.

Option 3: Buy Entire Labubu Macaron Set

Another option is to buy an entire box that has all 6 variations of Labubu Macaron.

Check Pop Mart first (retail price: $168) but if they’re out of stock, you can also check Amazon or eBay.

Tips to Avoid Buying a Fake Labubu

Some quick tips so you don’t get scammed by being a fake Labubu

1 ) Compare It To How a Real Labubu Looks Like

Most (but not all) fake Labubu are poorly made.

2 ) Check Where and Who Is Selling

It is not easy to buy Labubu so if seller has huge quantities for sale, they’re probably fake Labubu

Most retailers who sell Labubu dolls have either high end stores or are established online sellers.

Be careful of random gift shops because most are selling fake Labubu

3 ) Check Reviews from Seller

Make sure you buy from someone who has many good feedback especially positive reviews from past Labubu sales and not just any sale.

How We Fell In Love with Labubu Lychee Berry

Labubu Macaron Lychee was one of the first pictures of a Labubu keychain doll that I saw when my friend first got me into collecting Labubu dolls.

Why Labubu Toffee is One Of My Favorite Labubu

I was recently interviewed by ITV TV station in England for a digital article and the reporter asked me who my favorite Labubu was.

My immediate answer was Toffee and Lychee Berry.

Why?

Because Labubu Toffee was the first Labubu doll that I purchased and this picture was one of the first pictures I took when I launched this website to help other Labubu collectors.

When I first got Toffee, I didn’t know much about Labubu dolls

In fact, I didn’t even know how to spot a fake Labubu and just purchased it second hand from a random stranger in our neighborhood.

I went to her house and paid her cash and just thought that the chances of me being scammed would be low since I knew where she lived.

I was lucky I didn’t get scammed.

I’ll always remember the whole buying experience and that fact that Toffee was my first Labubu doll makes Toffee my favorite Labubu.
