Labubu V3 Release Date

The Labubu Big Into Energy release date was April 2025

Colors

Unlike the soft pastel colors of Exciting Macaron V1 and Have a Seat V2, this set features bold tie dye colors.

Size

This release is same height as Labubu Exciting Macaron V1 and is 6.7 inches tall (17 cm)

Eyes

Eyes are looking straight

Face

They all have the signature 9 teeth but what makes them unique is that they all have 1 colored tooth.

The far right tooth is same color as their body.

Nose

Her nose is upside down heart and is the same color as her body. Dark colors

Ears

Their ears are multi colored just like their tie dye designed.

The fur is softer strands and is much softer than Exciting Macaron V1.

It feels like the thin soft fur that Have a Seat V2 and Pin for Love V4 have

Even though she is the same height as Exciting Macaron V1, she has a much bigger belly and is wider than Labubu V1

The easiest way to tell this release versus the previous releases is that all these Labubu have tied dye design

What Are Blind Boxes?

You may have heard of people say “blind box” and this is what it means.

I believe the sports cards industry (baseball cards, football cards, basketball cards, etc.) invented this and Pop Mart copied this strategy to sell Labubu V1, Labubu V2 and Labubu V3

Every figure of the this Labubu set comes in a blind box.

I love it because it adds the unknown and makes opening a box more exciting because you have no idea which variation you’re getting!

To add even more suspense, you may even get lucky and get the Secret Character called ID which comes in only 1 out of 72 boxes!

By the way, the sports card industry also does this with multiple “limited serial” cards such as different gold refractor, blue refractor, red refractor, etc. and each one has increasing difficulty in pulling.

I can see in the near future where Popmart will do this as well.

For now, there’s only one Secret Character per release and the Labubu V3 Secret is called “ID” and many collectors buy as many blind boxes not just to collect the entire Labubu Energy set but to get the sacred secret character.

The Labubu Big Into Energy secret character is a black greyish tied dye version called “ID”

It is super difficult to get so that’s why the Labubu V3 Secret, ID can easily sell for over $150 on Ebay.

Tips to Buying a Secret Character

Aside from buying from a seller that has many positive reviews, here are some other tips

1 ) Don’t Forget “Too Good To Be True” Rule

If the price of Labubu Secret ID is under $100, it’s probably either a fake or a DIY

Expect to Pay At Least $150

2 ) Avoid DIY (Do It Yourself) Versions

If it says DIY which stands for “Do It Yourself” that just means someone took a regular Labubu version and dyed the colors and made their own version of the Secret!

That is NOT the real secret but just someone else’s fun project!
