Labubu Have a Seat secret character is named Duoduo and you have only a 1:72 chance of getting her from buying a blind box of Have a Seat Series.

There are plenty of sellers online but before you rush out to buy Labubu Duoduo, I created a helpful guide on 3 ways to buy an authentic doll without being scammed online.

How the Labubu Have a Seat Secret Looks Like

Labubu Duo Duo is sitting down just like the rest of the Have a Seat series and is also 5.9 inches tall (15 cm)

Duoduo is also same brown color as the Exciting Macaron Secret, Chestnut Cocoa and this is how she looks like.

The Labubu Have a Seat Duo Duo has that teddy bear brown color and is one of the reasons why collectors love her.

What is The Labubu Have a Seat Secret Character?

If you just started to collect or buy a Labubu, the Secret Character is a special version that comes in Have a Seat V2 blind boxes (means you don’t know what doll or variation you’re getting) and you only have a 1:72 chance of getting her!

This makes her very rare and why everyone wants the Labubu Have a Seat Secret!

If you’re like me or many fanatic collectors, the chase is what makes it fun!

Some critics even say it’s bad and it’ like gambling and causing people to waste thousands of dollars but I think that is a full of crap. Anyone can say something negative about anything.

Blind boxes create excitement and is what makes collecting Labubu fun.

Buying and getting your hands on a Labubu Duoduo is sooooo hard!

It’s not like buying the other variations such as Sisi, Dada, Hehe, Zizi, Baba, etc.

The reason why it’s so hard is as mentioned above, there is only 1:72 chance of getting one in a blind box while the others are 1:6 chance.

There are still ways to buy a Labubu Duo Duo and we will go over how and the Pro’s and Con’s of each way.

3 Ways to Buy a Real Labubu Duoduo Without Being Scammed

Labubu Have a Seat blind boxes are all sold out on Pop Mart’s website and app and even if you preorder, there usually is a 1 – 2 months wait.

So if you really want one, you have 3 ways to purchase Labubu Have a Seat Secret.

Option 1: Buy a Single Blind Box of Labubu Have a Seat V2

You can buy a single blind box and can get any of the 7 versions of Have a Seat V2

Pros

— It is the “cheapest” way to buy Labubu Duoduo if you happen to get lucky and get the Labubu Have a Seat Secret on your first try!

Above is the current market price

Cons

— It’s most likely going to be the most expensive way to buy Labubu Duo Duo since it’s only a 1:72 chance you’ll get it.

— This is gambling and chances are you’ll end up with the other variations such as Sisi, Dada, Hehe, Zizi, Baba, etc. Some people have spent literally thousands of dollars trying to get the Labubu Have a Seat Secret but only to end up with multiple duplicates of the other characters.

— If you’re buying a random blind box from a third party seller, chances are those blind boxes will NOT have the Labubu Have a Seat Secret.

The reason is sellers often open their boxed sets hoping to get Labubu Duoduo and if they’re happen to pull the Have a Seat Secret in one of the 6 blind boxes, they will not open any more of the blind boxes in that set since there is zero chance it will have another Secret. (Popmart only puts 1 Labubu Duoduo in a set).

The sellers usually sell those blind boxes and there is zero chance the Secret character will be inside since it’s from the same box that the seller had pulled one from.

This approach is not the way I recommend but if you like gambling and take your chances and have some fun, below are 2 great online sites that have buyer protection and good return policies.

Option 2: Buy the Whole Set of Labubu Have a Seat V2

You can purchase the entire Have a Seat V2 set like the way I did, and hope one of the 6 boxes will be Labubu Duoduo!

If you want to go with this approach, here is the current market price for a sealed box of Have a Seat V2

Note: There is only 1 Secret in the set so if you’re lucky you’ll be getting 1 Labubu Duoduo and never 2.

This was the box of the complete set that I purchased on Ebay before my kids opened it up.

Here are Pros and Cons of buying an entire box:

Pros

— If you’re new and don’t have the other variations then this is a good way to get started because even if you don’t end up with Labubu Duoduo, you’ll end up with everyone else. This is how I got started with Labubu and my kids and I all had a ton of fun!

Cons

— This is also like gambling and there is super low chance you’ll end up with Labubu Duoduo. The chances are 1:66 (it’s 66 and not 72 because you’re getting 6 boxes already in the set)

If you happen to be lucky to get the Labubu Have a Seat Secret, then you won’t get one of the other characters.

You won’t know which one will be replaced because unlike Exciting Macaron where Pop Mart usually replaces Lychee Berry with the Secret Chestnut Cocoa, for the Have a Seat series, it’s just any random character that gets replaced.

Option 3: Buy an Open Box that Has Labubu Duoduo

You can also purchase an opened blind box that has an authentic Labubu Duo duo inside.

Sometimes the Duoduo is outside the sealed bag and sometimes it’s not.

If the bag is sealed, the seller should have proof by showing the card that verifies it’s the Labubu Have a Seat Secret.

Some Buying Advice on This Approach

— If the seller says the box is sealed, then it can be a scam since there is no way you can tell it’s going to be the Labubu Have a Seat Secret since they’re all blind boxes.

— ONLY Exception for a “Sealed Box” that claims to have Labubu Duoduo is if seller claims to have purchased directly from Popmart and has pictures of proof of receipt.

The reason seller knows it’s Chestnut Cocoa (Secret) because he did a “Pop Now” and opened the box virtually on the app when he purchased it.

Seller also provided his shipping tracking from Pop Mart

— Make sure seller has photos of the card and box

— I prefer to buy if the bag is sealed (the box can be open and shows the authentic card) so that you’re not buying a fake

If the bag is opened, then make sure seller has the pictures including the card.

Don’t fall for “too good to be true!”

Be careful of a great price you see because the Labubu Have a Seat Secret is rare and hard to get so if the price is similar to the other dolls such as other characters such as Sisi, Ququ, Dada, Baba, Hehe or Zizi, I would stay away.
