What is The Labubu Exciting Macaron Secret?

If you’re new to Labubu, the Secret Character is a special version that comes in blind boxes and you only have a 1:72 chance of getting her!

This makes her very rare and why everyone wants the Labubu Macaron Chestnut Cocoa.

We’ll talk more about how to buy one shortly but let’s first see how Chestnut looks compared to the other variations in the Exciting Macaron Series.

How to Buy a Labubu Macaron Secret

Buying and getting your hands on a Labubu Cocoa is not as easy as buying the other variations such as Green Grape, Lychee Berry, Toffee, Sesame Bean, etc.

Main reason why it’s so hard is because there is only 1:72 chance of getting one in a blind box while the others are 1:6 chance.

There are still ways to buy a Labubu Cocoa and we will go over how and the Pro’s and Con’s of each way.

3 Ways to Buy a Real Chestnut Cocoa Without Being Scammed

A blind box for Exciting Macaron V1 is all sold out on Pop Mart’s website and app and even if you preorder, there usually is a 1 – 2 months wait.

So if you really want one, you have 3 ways to purchase Labubu Macaron Chestnut Cocoa.

Option 1: Buy a Single Blind Box of Labubu Exciting Macaron V1

You can buy a single blind box and can get any of the 7 variations of Labubu Exciting Macaron V1

Pros

— It is the “cheapest” way to buy Labubu Cocoa if you happen to get lucky and get the Labubu Macaron Secret on your first try.

— It’s most likely going to be the most expensive way to buy Labubu Cocoa since it’s only a 1:72 chance you’ll get it.

— This is gambling and chances are you’ll end up with the other variations such as Lychee Berry, Toffee, Soymilk, etc.

— If you’re buying a random blind box from a third party seller, chances are those blind boxes will NOT have the Labubu Macaron Secret.

The reason is sellers often open their boxed sets hoping to get Labubu Cocoa and if they’re happen to pull the Macaron Secret in one of the 6 blind boxes, they will not open any more of the blind boxes in that set since there is zero chance it will have another Secret. (Popmart only puts 1 Chestnut Cocoa in a set).

The sellers usually sell those blind boxes and there is zero chance the Secret character will be inside since it’s from the same box that the seller had pulled one from.

This approach is not the way I recommend but if you like gambling and take your chances and have some fun, below are 2 great online sites that have buyer protection and good return policies.

Option 2: Buy the Whole Set of Labubu Exciting Macaron V1

You can purchase the entire Labubu Exciting Macaron V1 set, and hope one of the 6 boxes will be Labubu Cocoa!

Note: There is only 1 Secret in the set so if you’re lucky you’ll be getting 1 Macaron Secret and never 2.

Pros

— If you’re new and don’t have the other variations then this is a good way to get started because even if you don’t end up with Chestnut Cocoa, you’ll end up with everyone else. This is how I got started with Labubu

Cons

— This is like gambling and there is super low chance you’ll end up with Chestnut Cocoa. The chances are 1:66 (it’s 66 and not 72 because you’re getting 6 boxes already in the set)

If you happen to be lucky to get the Labubu Macaron Secret, then you won’t be getting Lychee Berry because Popmart replaces Lychee Berry with Chestnut

Option 3: Buy an Open Box that Has Labubu Cocoa

You can also purchase an opened blind box that has an authentic Chestnut Cocoa inside.

Sometimes Chestnut Cocoa is outside the sealed bag and sometimes it’s not.

If the bag is sealed, the seller should have proof by showing the card that verifies it’s the Labubu Exciting Macaron Secret.

Some Buying Advice on This Approach

— If the seller says the box is sealed, then it can be a scam since there is no way you can tell it’s going to be the Labubu Exciting Macaron Secret since they’re all blind boxes.

— ONLY Exception for a “Sealed Box” that claims to have Labubu Macaron Chestnut is if seller claims to have purchased directly from Popmart and has pictures of proof of receipt.

This seller purchased directly from Pop Mart and provided receipt and shipment tracking of his purchase of Chestnut Cocoa

The reason seller knows it’s the Labubu Macaron Secret is because he did a virtual “Pop Now” where you can virtually open a box in the Pop Mart app.

Seller also provided his shipping tracking from Pop Mart

— Make sure seller has photos of the card and box

— I would prefer to buy if bag is sealed (the box can be open and shows the authentic card) so that you’re not buying a fake

If the bag is opened, then make sure seller has the pictures including the card.

Don’t fall for “too good to be true!”

Be careful of a great price you see because the Labubu Macaron Secret is rare and hard to get so if the price is similar to the other dolls such as Lychee Berry, Green Grape, Soymilk, etc.

I would be very careful and stay away.
