In fact, there are 2 secret characters in the Pin for Love V4 release and they’re called “Heart” and “!”

You only have a 1:168 chance of getting one when you buy a blind box which makes them super difficult to get!

These 2 Pin for Love Secret Characters are way harder to get than the previous blind box secret characters such as Chestnut Cocoa, Duoduo and Secret ID which was a 1:72 chance

There are plenty people selling the Labubu Pin for Love Secrets (many are fake) and before you buy one, I created a quick guide on 3 ways to buy an authentic Secret without being scammed online

Secret characters are special variations that are limited and hard to get and that’s why they’re super popular.

The Labubu V3 Secret called “ID” once sold for $1,800 on Ebay and is one of the most expensive Labubu’s sold.

How the 2 Labubu Pin for Love Secrets Look Like

Pin for Love V4 are divided into 2 groups and each has its own Labubu Pin for Love Secret

1 ) Group A – M: “Heart”

2 ) Group N – Z: “!” (Exclamation)

Here are some details and specs.

Size

Both “Heart” and “!” are the same size as the rest of the Pin for Love V4 characters.

They measure 4.1 inches tall (10.5cm) and designed to be small enough to hang on smartphones.

Fur

They have fluffy fur that is longer strands than softer than Exciting Macaron V1

Lanyard

They come with a lanyard that is the same color as the body and is embroidered with the name of the Monsters creator, Kasing Lung.

Keychain Tag

They come with a keychain so you can hang them.

Charm

Attached to the keychain is a 4 side charm.

2 sides of the charm has the Labubu Pin for Love secret’s name on it, for i.e., “Heart” and another side has the Labubu icon and the other side has Labubu’s teeth.

Sticker

Both these Pin for Love secret characters also come with Labubu stickers just like the rest of the variations in the Pin for Love V4 release.

How to Buy a Labubu Pin for Love Secret

Buying and getting a Labubu V4 secret is going to be hard!

It’s not like buying the other variations such as “A”, “B”, “J”, “N”, etc.

The reason why it’s so hard is as mentioned above, there is only 1:168 chance of getting one in a blind box while the others are much easier

There are still ways to buy a Pin for Love Secret character and we will go over how and the Pro’s and Con’s of each way.

3 Ways to Buy a Real Pin for Love Secret Character Without Being Scammed

Labubu Pin for Love V4 blind boxes are all sold out on Pop Mart’s website and app and even if you preorder, there usually is a 1 – 2 months wait.

So if you really want one, you have 3 ways to purchase a Pin for Love secret character

Option 1: Buy a Single Blind Box of Pin for Love V4

You can buy a single blind box and can get any of the 26 versions of Labubu Pin for Love V4

Reminder:

To get “Heart” – buy a Group A – M blind box

To get “!” – buy a Group N – Z blind box

Pros

— It is the “cheapest” way to get a Labubu V4 secret if you happen to get lucky and get the either “Heart” or “!” on your first try!

Cons

— It’s most likely going to be the most expensive way to buy the Labubu V4 Secret since it’s only a 1:168 chance you’ll get it.

— This is gambling and chances are you’ll end up with the other variations such as “A”, “D”, “N”, “R”, etc.

In previous releases, some die hard Labubu collectors are so hooked onto the thrill of the chase that they spent thousands trying to get the Labubu V3 Secret but only to end up with multiple duplicates of the other dolls such as 10 of Serenity, 20 of Loyalty, etc.

It’s crazy!

— IMPORTANT NOTE: If you’re buying a random blind box from a third party seller, chances are those blind boxes will NOT have the Labubu Pin for Love Secret!!!

The reason is resellers often open their boxed sets hoping to get Pin for Love secret character and if they’re lucky to get one in any of the 14 blind boxes, they will not open any more of the blind boxes in that set since there is zero chance it will have another Labubu V4 Secret. (Popmart only puts 1 Labubu Secret in a set).

The sellers usually sell those blind boxes and there is zero chance the Secret character will be inside since it’s from the same box that the seller had pulled one from.

Option 2: Buy the Whole Set of Labubu Pin for Love V4

You can purchase the entire Pin for Love V4 set like the way we did, and hope one of the 14 boxes will be a Secret!

If you want to get “Heart”, then buy Group A – M

If you want to get “!”, then purchase Group N – Z

Note: There is only 1 Secret in the set so if you’re lucky you’ll be getting 1 and never 2.

How We Purchased Our Pin for Love V4

We purchased complete sets of Group A – M and Group N – Z but unfortunately we didn’t get any Pin for Love secret characters but our kids just loved the other variations.

There were our 2 boxes.

These were our mini Labubu’s Pin for Loves.

We love them but no Labubu Pin for Love Secrets though… 🤷🏻‍♀️

This approach is not the way I recommend but if you like gambling and take your chances and have some fun.

Pros

— If you’re new and don’t have the other variations then this is a good way to get started because even if you don’t end up with Labubu Pin for Love secret characters, you’ll end up with everyone else. 😀

This is how we got started with Labubu and my kids and I all had a ton of fun!

Cons

— This is also like gambling and there is super low chance you’ll get either of the Labubu V4 secrets.

If you happen to be lucky to get a Secret, then you won’t get one of the other characters.

You won’t know which one will be replaced because unlike Exciting Macaron where Pop Mart usually replaces Lychee Berry with the Secret Chestnut Cocoa, but for the Big Into Energy V3 series, it’s just any random character that gets replaced.

Option 3: Buy an Open Box that Has a Labubu V4 Secret

You can also purchase an opened blind box that has an authentic Labubu V4 Secret inside.

Sometimes the secret character is outside the sealed bag and sometimes it’s not.

If the bag is sealed, the seller should have proof by showing the Labubu sticker that verifies it’s the Secret

Pros

— You’re supposed to get exactly what you want and won’t end up with the other characters

Cons

— There can be scams where you end up with either a fake Labubu ID or another doll.

*** I would avoid any seller who is selling Labubu Pin for Love Secret Character for less than $100. That just sounds too good to be a true and most likely a fake!

Don’t be greedy and too hopeful for a great deal is one of the ways to spot a fake and avoid being scammed

When you purchase on Ebay, make sure you’re buying from a seller that has a lot of ratings so this prevents you from being scammed.

Some Buying Advice on This Approach

— If the seller says the box is sealed, then it can be a scam since there is no way you can tell it’s going to be the Labubu Pin for Love Secret character since they’re all blind boxes.

— ONLY Exception for a “Sealed Box” that claims to have Labubu V4 secret is if seller claims to have purchased directly from Pop Mart as a “Pop Now”and has pictures of proof of receipt.

The reason seller knows it’s Chestnut Cocoa (Secret) because he did a “Pop Now” and opened the box virtually on the app when he purchased it.

— Make sure seller has photos of the Labubu sticker and box

Don’t Fall for “too good to be true!”

Be careful of a great price you see because the Labubu Pin for Love Secret is super rare and hard to get so if the price is similar to the other variations such as “A”, “B”, “P”, etc. I would stay away!

That’s a red flag!

There’s no way one can be that cheap!
