Going to a Popmart Philippines store was the first thing we thought of when we wanted to buy Labubu in the Philippines.

Just like the rest of the world, Labubu was sold out at 2 Popmart Philippines branches but after some luck, we were able to buy a real Labubu from a Labubu Philippines reseller.

Buying Experience at Popmart Philippines Store in Makati (Manila)

Our kids were really excited when we told them that we were going to shop for Labubu in Philippines.

One of them wanted “the blue one” while the daughter was less demanding and just wanted “anything cute.”

We had to remind them that Labubu were sold in blind boxes so you don’t really know what you’re getting. The mystery only got them more excited!

Our first top was to visit the Popmart Philippines store in Makati, Manila.

This store was located on the 3rd floor and we were really excited to go in.

Labubu Philippines All Sold Out?!

The kids were super excited to go in but were quickly disappointed since all the plush Labubu dolls was sold out!

Bummer!

The fact Labubu was all sold out made them only want one more!

What They Had in Stock

All the dolls were sold out but they did have these available.

• The Monsters Classic Series sparkly plush pendant
• The Monsters scented candle
• Labubu laptop bag
• Finding Moko figurines

The kids weren’t that interested in those things and really wanted the Labubu keychain dolls so we asked the staff and they said that every store is different and there’s no guarantee shipment day or when they will receive more stock!

Our kids were disappointed but determined!

Normally they’re not crazy about shopping but since it was sold out, they were eager to go try the Popmart Philippines store in the SM Mall of Asia so that’s where we went next.

The kids really wanted one of the Labubu plush dolls so we went went to the Popmart Philippines store in SM Mall of Asia (MOA).

This store was way bigger and busier than the one in Makati and our kids were convinced they could get a special Labubu Philippines plush.

Long Wait at Labubu Philippines Store

Before we could get in, there was a huge line.

It took us 30 minutes before we could get in. The wait only made us more anxious to see if we were lucky enough to buy a Labubu in the Philippines!

The wait was 30 minutes but to our kids, it seemed like hours especially every time we saw someone leave with bags of Labubu!

How Popmart Philippines Branch in SM Mall of Asia Looks Like

This Popmart store was bigger than the one in Makati but just as packed and happening!

There was such huge rows that the staff implemented a 15 minute shopping limit which meant you could only stay in the store for 15 minutes so that others could get in.

This just made things more intense, exciting and stressful since everyone was rushing to buy a special Labubu Philippines doll before they were sold out.

Labubu Philippines Out of Stock Again!

Once we got in, to our HUGE disappointment, all the Labubu dolls were sold out again!

The staff told us that restocks usually happen once or twice a week but never on a set schedule so you never know when they’ll be available.

Unfortunately they didn’t restock that day or we went too late.

The next time we probably have to camp out early and be the first ones allowed in the store.

Our kids were super disappointed because they couldn’t get one of the Labubu dolls so we picked up a Monster Flower Elves figurine and a Big Into Energy crystal blind box.

They were happy when they got home.

The staff was super friendly and we really appreciated them.

They did a great job to keep disappointed Labubu fans happy and we would gladly go back there again.

As we left, there was still a long line of people that wanted to get in!

Advice for Shopping at Popmart Philippines Store

Labubu is so popular that chances are you won’t be able to get what you want and the staff has no idea when they restock.

This only adds to the suspense and in our opinion, what makes Labubu even more popular.

Get There Super Early

If you really want to buy a special Labubu Philippines plush doll, the only way is to go there super early and line up before the store opens so that if they do get a restock, you’ll be able to get one.

If you go there after it opens up, you almost have zero chance since other Labubu collectors will buy them up and especially before they’re sold in blind boxes.

Most Labubu fans will buy multiple boxes hoping to complete their collection and get the Secret Characters in Labubu V1, Labubu V2 and Labubu V3.

Just because Labubu was sold out at two Popmart Philippines stores doesn’t mean we were giving up!

Instead, we were more motivated than ever!

The more something is limited, the more people want it and we wanted one!

We decided to try our luck at the second hand market and buy from a Labubu Philippines reseller.

We already knew how to spot a fake Labubu to avoid being scammed but we were still super careful.

We were searching online and while the girl would keep asking if “is this real or fake,” the younger son just wanted the “blue Labubu.”

One seller offer to sell a Labubu Exciting Macaron V1 or a Labubu Have a Seat V2 for ₱3,000 each (about $60 USD)

I messaged the seller and he was slow to respond and he only sent me one picture which made me skeptical.

The kids also wanted to touch and see the Labubu in person so we decided not to buy from this Labubu Philippines reseller.

2) Reseller Physical Store

Our other option was to buy from a Labubu Philippines reseller that had a physical store that we could go to.

We decided to go to this physical pop-up store in Glorietta because we got to see the Labubu in person and also their social media profile was filled with positive reviews and photos from verified customers.

After being disappointed twice because of Labubu being sold out at both the Popmart Philippines store in Makati and Mall of Asia, our kids were more than thrilled when they finally saw rows of Labubu dolls available for sale!

This Labubu Philippines reseller had Labubu Exciting Macaron V1 and Labubu Have a Seat V2 for ₱2,500 each (around $50 USD) which was cheaper than the online seller.

They even had the rare Zimomo “Good Luck to You” vinyl plush pendant for just ₱8,500 (around $170 USD)=

Labubu Philippines Mission Accomplished!

We purchased a blind box of Labubu Exciting Macaron V1 and my son was super excited.

We opened it the moment we got home and our kids were so happy!

We ended up with Toffee! 😀

Even though Toffee wasn’t blue, my son loved it and my daughter thought it was the cutest thing in the world.

We decided Toffee needed some Labubu clothes so took an old sock and made this sweater for her
